Just five days until Christmas! I love this time when things slow down and we have lots of family time. I hope you are enjoying your families as well.
My 4 favorite parties of the week include some two popular holiday parties. I'm showing off arustic Pancakes and Pajamas holiday party, and a jewel-toned outdoor Christmas party. Plus check out this a gorgeous pink Disney Princesses birthday party, and glam punk New Year's party.
I'm excited to share my favorite parties this week because they're all so incredible! I'm showing off an amazing girl Minion birthday party with an insane cake, an incredible gingerbread crafting party that is beyond beautiful, a fun Christmas double party for two lucky girls, and a sophisticated and sweet Minnie Mouse party!
Parties below are from top to bottom in the image above:
We are in full holiday spirit at our house, lots of baking, lots of blogging, lots of shopping. My daughter is in a production of the Nutcracker, so that is keeping her very busy.
The weather here is cold and gray, so seeing all the Christmas lights going up in our neighborhood does brighten my spirits. When will we get ours up?? :)
Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and your prep for the holidays is going well.
My favorite parties this week are a festive gift exchange holiday party, a gorgeous mint and gold gymnastics birthday party, a red and white rustic Candy Cane Lane party, and a beautiful Thanksgiving celebration with delicious desserts!
I got home late last night from the BlogHerFood15 Conference in Chicago, where I was sent by Bounty as a brand ambassador (thank you, Bounty!).
My bag was chuck full o' food when I got home, one of the perks of going to a food conference. Most unusual product: powdered beef gelatin in a jar. I will try it in some bone broth.
Happy almost Halloween! My daughter is dressing up as the Queen of Hearts because she just finished reading Alice in Wonderland and fell in love with it.
She didn't want an off-the-shelf costume so I bought her a tutu on Etsy (that is supposed to arrive by Wednesday, fingers crossed), and her plan is to transform a red tee shirt and a white tee shirt into something unique. I have a feeling there will lots of cutting, glueing, and fabric markering between now and Saturday. This is the first year she's wanted to make part of her costume. Do your kids make their costumes or do you buy them?
