{DIY} Valentine's Day Heart Crayons with Free Printable Tags

I always have a hard time finding easy (and inexpensive) Valentine’s Day gifts that aren’t candy. That’s why I decided to make heart crayons with cute tags that my daughter can give to her friends this year for Valentine’s Day.

I broke up some pink, white, red, and purple crayons (be careful using purple because they can look really dark when melted).  I put the pieces in heart-shaped silicone baking cups and melted them in the oven at 225 degrees for about 8-10 minutes, checking them often.

I let them cool, popped them out, and here’s how they turned out.

Then I placed them in cello bags, tied them with pink bows, and attached these “You color my world!” Valentine’s Day tags created by Michelle from  Printabelle.
