Virginie from That Cute Little Cake is here with a wonderfully creative paper straw craft, perfect for Halloween and Thanksgiving.
With Halloween right around the corner I have been thinking of fun ways to decorate straws for a party, and since I love pumpkins, I created these super cute 3D pumpkin straw embellishments!
They look fabulous and yet they are super easy to make !!!
Supplies:
- Assortment of orange cardstock (I used textured, glittered, and patterned)
- One sheet of green cardstock
- Paper straws
- Glue, scissors, tape
- Optional: Glitter

Next step, make the stem.
To finish off, wrap the pumpkin around the straw and secure by gluing the first shape to the last.
To add a bit of sparkle… Before gluing the pumpkin around the straw, apply craft glue to the edges with a brush, and dip in glitter.
I had a lot of fun experimenting with different papers (glittered, patterned…). You can certainly match any color scheme with your choice of paper, and either use a colorful palette for Halloween or a more rustic one for Thanksgiving.
