Soo cool to hear you Jill! LOVED your fabulous ideas!! HobNobs are also one of my faves along with Chocolate Digestive McVities! The Flake is also associated with a vanilla ice cream cone we get from ice cream vans (those old fashioned ones that have music played, you know?) in the street in the UK. :) If anyone needs any scones recipe I posted one here along with more suggestions for a high-tea party: http://www.blog.birdsparty.com/2011/04/how-to-make-traditional-english-scones.html
