Cartolina is a company that sells beautiful greeting cards and paper products.
They've recently launched an iPhone app for $2.99, where instead of sending a plain email or text, you can send a gorgeous "Cartogram."
According to the site, you just choose from a selection of designs, customize your message, and send. Here are a few samples to get the idea...
