Need a Super Easy July 4th Centerpiece?

Well, I just made this one in about ten minutes with some free printables from the HP Summer Celebration newsletter. I love these mini paper flags. I can think of so many uses for them.

I also made this cool retro garland. It makes me think of an old-fashioned couty fair.

And finally, I printed out this mad-libs-type sheet about July 4th for my daughter to fill out with her friends, great for a quick family-friendly party activity.

The HP Summer Celebration newsletter has tons of great summer entertaining ideas, free printables, recipes, crafts, and photo tips. It's definitely worth a look!

{DIY} How to Make a Quick and Easy Graffiti Wall

Pat from Zperfect Party emailed me about a simple graffiti wall she put up at her recent graduation party and found it to be a huge hit. I love this idea!

All she did was found some rolled black paper, attached it to the wall with colorful duct tape, and handed the kids some chalk.

She said not only was it instant party decor, it was easy clean up, and it got everyone in the mood to have fun.

Thanks for the tip, Pat! I think this could work at any type of party (kid or grown up).
