Kristen and Missy from Sweetly Chic Events & Designs are here today with a beautiful ribbon chandelier DIY that would look great at a girl birthday, baby shower, bridal shower, or even as room decor.
Nothing says "feminine" like delicate ribbon and lace, and a ribbon chandelier is an easy and beautiful way to add an ethereal, shabby chic feel to your next event!
- Large embroidery hoop
- Small embroidery hoop
- Assortment of ribbon and lace
- Hot glue gun
1.) Take your large embroidery hoop and hot glue a 12 inch strip of ribbon to the hoop, leaving a small amount of ribbon at the top to wrap over the top of the hoop.
Thank you Kristen and Missy for your beautiful DIY. I definitely want to make a ribbon chandelier for my daughter's room. She would love it hanging above her bed.
I've been wanting to give away a set of Kentucky Derby printables, and finally I get my chance thanks to Wanessa from Wanessa Carolina Creations who designed this terrifically fun collection! Now on May 5th, you can serve up your mint juleps, put on your fancy hats, and watch "The Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports" in style!
The collection includes: drink wraps, mini party logos (with the names of all the horses), favor tags, patterned paper, invitations, cupcake wrappers, tented cards, and a "138th Derby" banner. Just perfect!!
If you use these printables at your Kentucky Derby party, please add your party to our site. I'd love to show off what you do!
Thank you, Wanessa. I always love your bold and vibrant designs!
I can't believe I've only now discovered Happy Tape.
It's Japanese masking tape in the most beautiful colors and patterns. The 10 packs of tape sell for about $36, and the individual rolls sell for about $5.50.
This would work great on presents, favors, invitations, party labels, you name it. It makes me feel creative just looking at it.
Here are some of my favorite tape collections, but check out their site for many more options...
