My daughter is going to be the Statue of Liberty for Halloween, but not because she loves the Statue of Liberty. She loves the Halloween video game Costume Quest (which she plays with my husband). Her favorite character is Lucy, a scientist.
Here’s Lucy…
…and her favorite costume to dress Lucy in is the “Lady Liberty” costume. (Here’s another character from the game modeling the “Lady Liberty” costume.)
So my daughter will be “Lady Liberty” with black scientist glasses and little buns in her hair just like Lucy. How she is going to explain this to people, I don’t know. 🙂
Okay, I just got back from her school parade and here she is as “Lucy from Costume Quest dressed as Lady Liberty”!
