If you've been reading our blog, you know that we've been brought on by Friskies Party Mix to help plan Grumpy Cat's 2nd birthday, which is being held in NYC on April 29th. We racked our brains trying to come up with foods she might like. Now we need your help in deciding what to send to her big birthday bash!
1.) Yarn Cake Balls
What cat doesn't like to play with a ball of yarn, especially one you can eat! We made these cake balls out of pound cake, white frosting, and colored fondant (tutorial on our blog next week). Do they look like fun?
2) Grumpy Goldfish CookiesWe thought we'd throw a little unhappiness right back at Grumpy Cat with our grumpy fish cookies! These cookies were made using our basic sugar cookie recipe, store-bought cookie icing (colored neon orange), candy eyes, and an edible black marker. Aren't they angry-looking?
2.) Cheese Wedge MiceAlmost too cute to eat, but I'm not sure a cat could resist. These cheese mice were made out of Laughing Cow cheese, pumpkin seeds, dried blueberries, dried apricots, and chives (tutorial on the blog next week). We wanted to add a little savory to cut the sweet, thought Grumpy Cat might appreciate that.
So which do you think Grumpy Cat would like best?
