Party Recap

My client asked me to create a Vintage Parisian Dessert table for a bridal shower they were planning. They sent me a copy of the invite so I created the backdrop based off of that by painting pink and white stripes and adding chandelier decals. The sweets on the table included a beautiful 3-tiered Eiffel Tower Cake, Macarons, Petits Fours, Cannoli's, Fruit Tarts, Chocolate covered Oreos, Almond-Cinnamon Sugar Cookies, and Oreo Truffles. I ordered Carrot Cake and Red Velvet Petits Fours from The Swiss Colony and just added fondant flowers to the tops to coordinate with the colors of the table. I tried to incorporate some flowers I purchased at a local Produce Junction to add some romance to the table. And I created the "Amour" letters in front of the cake out of wood letters, cardstock paper, and flowers and butterflies I picked up at Michael's. The bride-to-be was absolutely in love with everything!

Love love this! Wished you lived nearby so I can use you to plan my parties! What material did you use to paint on the pink and white stripes? The backdrop looks like one large piece.
