Party Recap

I styled this "Lovebug" dessert table for a little girl that just celebrated her 2nd birthday. My client (her mother) wanted the "Lovebug" ladybug theme because they call their daughter, Gianna, their little Lovebug so the theme was set! I tried to incorporate lovely little ladybugs all throughout the table and the sweets on the table included, Red Velvet Cupcake Topiary Trees, 2-tiered Ladybug Cake, Ladybug Oreo Truffle Pops, Sugar cookies, Raspberry Truffle Tarts, Chocolate Cupcakes with Ladybug fondant toppers, Chocolate Covered Oreos with fondant toppers, "Ladybug" Strawberries, and Dirt Cake Shooters with Sugar Cookie flowers and little fondant ladybug's crawling around on the "dirt." ;) My very talented sister-in-law hand-painted the backdrop and finished it off with some trim. Everyone absolutely loved all the sweets, especially the birthday girl!

Hi Rocky! That was SUPER easy!! Most craft stores such as, Michael's or AC Moore carry "candy eyes..." A bunch of them come in a pack and I just stuck them on with melted chocolate :)

I also got this at Michael's craft store.. they are actually little square mats that I just shoved into the ceramic container. There is a block of foam underneath so that the sticks could slide right in.. hope this helps!
