Party Recap

Nothing says the 4th of July like stars and stripes! We were in the mood to celebrate in a big way with lots of sweet treats as we await the fireworks display.
Amber of Party On! Designs created an amazing set that was as patriotic as could be. From the "Celebrate" banner to the "blast off" favor tags, the party colors really popped and the stars and stripes were easy to mix with simple white dishes and a fabric table runner that couldn't have been a more perfect match. We even tied some coordinating fabric to the paper banner to give it some extra "pop".
We served sweets that can easily be picked up at the local grocery store on party day ~ vanilla cupcakes in red and white striped liners (supplied by Party On! Designs), chocolate covered pretzel rods (a super easy treat anyone can make!) served in mason jars, and marshmallows and star shaped gummies stuck on wooden swizzle sticks, (also supplied by Party On! Designs). For drinks we served "firecracker punch" in mason jars with star shaped lids and striped straws from Party On! Designs. I love the lids - so patriotic for this time of year and keeps the kids from spilling their drinks!
I Have A Favor added an extra special touch by decorating clear push up pops with firecrackers and stars. A perfect match to our theme! We filled them with some red and blue candy and they were an easy treat for the kids during the fireworks. To end the party, we found patriotic bubbles in red and blue with star tops from our local craft store. The kids loved them!
With easy store bought treats, we created a no stress party that all guests can enjoy as we celebrated the 4th with sweets and fireworks!
