Party Recap
I had the pleasure of getting to know the Bride during the planning process while waiting for her Groom to return to the U.S. from being overseas in the Military. I couldn't have been more lucky to work with such a wonderful couple. The inspiration came from the brides interest in vintage and the venue itself. The couples invitations were done in a chalkboard design which I carried through in the display of signs for the wedding. A chalkboard program greeted guests as they arrived at the ceremony...A great way to cut cost and save paper. I added various props to give the vintage feel and added textures of lace and burlap. Instead of petals down the aisle....handmade lace flowers scattered the aisle. A wooden arbor decorated with lace and burlap added to the rustic feel. Gorgeous wildflowers made for amazing centerpieces and bouquets. Even the rain outside couldn't spoil this beautiful day!
