WHAT DID YOU USE FOR THE CLAM COOKIES

    Shannon J wrote:

The cookies are a sugar cookie that was pressed into a shell mold before baking. The frosting is regular icing that you would use for frosted sugar cookies and the pearl is a gum ball.

Oh and the "sand" that the cookies are sitting on is coarse raw sugar and the smaller "pearls" are white sixlets

I Love Your Party, It Was So Adorable & Creative. Where Did You Purchase The Sand Pails?

    Shannon J wrote:

Thank you! The pails with the name tags on them (used for party favors) I actually got at the dollar tree. The pails used to put food in were purchased at Michaels. My son's birthday is the middle of the summer so the pails were being sold at a lot of places but that is where I got the ones used for his party.

I've been looking for this, where did you purchase it from?

    Shannon J wrote:

I actually made it. The blue is "Caribbean blue" wrapping paper from party city, the "seaweed" is two different colors of green streamers twisted together, and the "sand" is two different shades of card stock layered, and cut "wavy" to look like sand on an ocean floor. I bought a printable character file on etsy of the bubble guppies and printed and cut out each character and glued it to the mural.

Can you share details about the table decor? Where did you buy the green runner, circle cut outs.. etc?

    Shannon J wrote:

The table is covered in a "Caribbean blue" table cloth from party city and the green is another table cloth from party city that was not unfolded all the way. The circles cutouts, and cupcake toppers were from NickJr website, they have free printables for a bubble guppies birthday. I used a circle punch and mixed in some of the printable a with solid colored card stock to make the confetti. The main centerpiece is a hat box that I bought at hobby lobby. I painted it blue and used two differed colors of brown card stock to make the sand at the bottom and used the green card stock to cut out the seaweed. I bought a printable file off etsy,of all the characters, and cut them out to put them on the centerpiece. I hope this helps :-)

Love everything about your party! I am going to try and recreate something similar for my sons 1st bday . I am definitely going to try and do the picture mural you made , I love that. Where did you get your large character printables from? The only ones I see on Nick Jr are small and i think they would be too small for the picture mural and also the one that you have the "3" on.

Also where did you get the bubble " happy birthday" banner from?

    Shannon J wrote:

Hi Melissa! I bought a printable file off Esty for the large characters. They printed on a full sheet of cardstock. Try a search on Etsy for printable bubble guppies. If They Still Don't Have That Specific File For The Large Printable characters You could estate one of the sellers, sometimes they can do a custom file for what you want. The banner was printed off of Nick Jr Web site and I cut out my own green and blue card stock circles to back the letters and bought ribbon to string the letters together. However, if you don't want to make the banner yourself, I did see very similar banners also for sale on Etsy.com I hope this helps!
