Party Recap
This has to be my favorite party I have thrown. From the decorations to the activities we did at the party, every little detail was about science and the coolest birthday laboratory you have ever seen!
Party Highlights
-
What People Ate
We had an "invent your own sundae bar" where kids could top their ice cream with tons of fun different items. We also had monster cake and a "Nuclear slime fountain" Which was white chocolate dyed green, with strawberries and marshmallows and other yummy things to dip in it.
-
What People Drank
We drank "Bacteria Beverages" and "Radioactive Juice" The radioactive juice was lemonade dyed green, with a chunk of dry ice in there to make it bubble and smoke!
-
Best Moment
Probably the mentos and coke explosion
-
Most Touching Moment
When my little guy was sad we had to take down the decorations, he wanted the house to look like a science lab for days.
-
Best Dressed
My son, in his lab coat, goggles, and science hair.
-
Desserts
monster cake, and invent your own sundaes
-
Party Favors
kids got to keep the slime, silly putty and jelly crystals they made. They also got UV reactive beads to make a bracelet that changed color in the sun. They also got those fun foam pills that dissolve in water to reveal a foam shape.
-
Activities / Games
We had 6 different stations with different science experiments. The built molecules out of toothpicks and marshmallows, made slime, made silly putty, mixed colors, made instant snow, and played with boo bubbles! (Smoke filled bubbles, the biggest hit) WE also had a glow station with a black light and tons of fun things to play with that glowed under the black light. At the end daddy dropped some mentos in a diet coke 2 liter outside and everyone watched in amazement as it exploded everywhere!
