Party Recap

The Concept:
Designed and orchestrated with a french garden feel, inspired by the well known Peter Rabbit and his garden. With a theme in mind- greens, yellows, oranges, and gold all brought the concept together. Natural florals provided by Wild Bunches Floral, consisting of rosemary, seeded eucalyptus, queen anne's lace, and scabiosa pods are accented with pops of tangerine spray roses, coral hypericum berries, and yellow billy balls which add a garden feel to a modern chevron linen. The guest tables also consisted of other fun details such as stacked books, quotes, golden baby blocks, booties, rocking horses, and even personalized onesies for the baby to be. And what baby shower would be complete without fun themed libations, such as a champagne cocktail hinted with lime sorbet for color and taste? Catering provided by La Madeline brought in the cuisine to be desired for a french affair, consisting of croissant sandwiches and french onion soup. A modern two tier cake, featuring the chevron motif and the baby boy's monogram brought a little southern charm to the Parisian affair. Last but not least a french inspired party would not be complete without macaroons--created by the best of the best in the Austin area, Walton's Fancy & Staple.

If I had to sum up my baby shower, I would say that every little detail hand picked and created by my lovely sister in law described me in so many ways. When she asked me if I had a theme in mind, I simply stated modern, fun, and a little girly (even though its a BOY)! The theme and stylings were all a collaboration of different parts of my personality brought together for a lovely event!
