Sugar Plum Nutcracker Tea

With whimsical snowflakes, nutcrackers and plenty of sweets, this pink, gold and glittery party brings the magic of the holidays, and The Nutcracker, to life. We custom designed this Sugar Plum Sweet Shoppe dessert table for a local ballet company who is hosting a Nutcracker Tea to raise funds for their upcoming production of The Nutcracker. The Nutcracker is such a beautiful ballet, that timelessly captures the wonder of the holidays, and we wanted to bring that wonder to life with a bit of a modern flare. We chose a pallet of pink, white and gold and used plenty of fresh florals and glitter to make the event truly sparkle.

Guests enjoyed a variety of sweet treats, all inspired by the Sugar Plum Fairy herself. Desserts included pink chocolate dipped marshmallow pops, chocolate dipped strawberries and chocolate covered cookies garnished with SweetWorks Pearls for an extra sweet touch. Guests also enjoyed chocolate dipped pretzels with edible gold glitter, strawberry wafer cookies dipped in white chocolate also adorned with gold glitter, and plenty of SweetWorks Sixlets and Gumballs in shimmering white to emulate snow. Our little ballerinas also enjoyed a variety of hot beverages, including Christmas tea and of course, hot cocoa, all served in adorable Nutcracker themed cups.
The decor of gold nutcrackers, sparking “DANCE” centerpieces, toe shoes, tutus and lots of snowflakes, all helped to capture the beauty of the ballet and the holiday season!
