Party Recap

The Doc is in and she has the prescription for the perfect Doc McStuffins birthday party! A palette of pretty pinks and purples, delicious custom sweets and a cuddle clinic any toy would be happy to visit! When our client asked us to plan a Doc McStuffins themed party for her daughter’s second birthday, we couldn’t have been more excited. We were so inspired by all of the creative adorable aspects of the show and wanted to infuse that same imaginative spirit into the party.

Guests arrived and entered Doc’s “Cuddle Clinic” where they were transformed into toyologists, experts in stuffetrics! Each child was given a child-size lab coat, felt stethoscope and personalized Doc themed ID badge to make their physician’s ensemble complete. They next found their personalized teddy bear patient, complete with a personalized patient ID bracelet, and began their routine check. Once the patients were checked in, our petite physicians took full advantage of all the cuddle clinic had to offer: Doc inspired medical bags, physicians tools, pink clipboards complete with a check up checklist, glitter topped tongue depressors, pink and purple band aid crayons, and of course, their very own Big Book of Boo Boos.

After the check- ups were complete and their teddy bears were given a clean bill of health, our guests enjoyed an array of Doc themed sweets from our dessert buffet. The treats included pink candied apples, Sweetworks Sixlets popcorn, flower-topped glittered cake pops, character themed sugar cookies, vanilla cupcakes with charming fondant toppers, chocolate covered Oreos, chocolate dipped “thermometer” pretzels and tongue depressors, chocolate band aid lollipops, and of course, a gorgeous birthday cake complete with a custom made Sweetworks Sixlets number 2 topper.

Guests enjoyed their sweets at our kids’ dining table, which included Doc inspired plates, themed mason jar cups, custom Doc wooden utensils and a personalized centerpiece backed with cylindrical vases of pink and purple Sixlets. To add to the excitement, our guests played an exciting game of “Pin the Band Aid on Lambie”, which was as cute as it was fun!

Our party concluded with each guest filling their Doc McStuffins favor boxes with more sweets from our candy buffet. The table featured Sweetworks pink and purple shimmer Sixlets and Gumballs, Sweetworks chocolate foiled hearts, mini marshmallow Lambie tails, chocolate themed Doc bandages, personalized wrapped miniature chocolate bars and Doc themed Hershey Kisses.

The newly certified toy practitioners left with numerous themed favors, sweet treats and best of all, a smile and memory to last a lifetime. That Doc really knows her stuff!
