Grandma (& me)
Caterer
Grandma baked the cake, cupcakes and cookies. Grandma and I swirled cream-cheese frosting on the cupcakes, and used Cupcake Addiction's great recipe and tutorial to make the cake pops.

Grandma & Grandpa (& me)

Grandma worked overtime on sewing capes.
Grandpa made microphones.
I hand-tied tutus for the girls, even for grandma and myself.

Clare - The globe is just a round vase turned upside down. They have them at Michaels and other craft stores. See this tutorial from My Cupcake Addiction. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DyEY3Ewy5Ug I would definitely recommend placing a flat circle of cardboard or something solid on the top of the cake. I tried using 4 dowels pressed down into the cake as support but it was a warm day and after about an hour the weight was too much and the globe started to slip (you can see it leaningin the picture). After about hours, the whole cake toppled over.
