Party Recap

The invitations were from Whimsy LLC at Etsy.com The invitation read "Sunny Days, Sweeping Up Clouds Away! On Our Way to Celebrate Mailyn's 2nd Birthday! Brought To By the Letter M and the Number 2!

The house was transformed to look like a preschool classroom with pictures of shapes, crayons, ABC's and 123's. A game hung on the wall called Count with the Count. Another game labeled Ernie's Rubber Duckie's had a pail of rubber duckies floating in water. Kids could pick a duck. If they got a 1,2, or 3 labeled underneath, they got to pick a small prize from the 1,2,or 3 bin. Shortly into the party, Miss Silly Dee, a balloon entertainer came to do a little preschool show and make balloons. Kids wore crayon crowns on their heads for fun throughout the party! The food was labeled with fancy labels to look like Sesame Street signs. Food items were designed around the Sesame Street characters: Mr. Hooper's Dip, Grover's Veggies, Telly's Triangle Sandwiches, Maria's Taco Dip, Rosita's Salsa, Zoey's Pink Dallet Fruit Dip and fruit Kabobs, Elmo's Favorite Pizza, Lil' Dorothy's Goldfish Crackers, Abby's Magic Wands, Oscar's Spinach Dip, Elmo Chocolate covered Oreos, Cookie Monsters cookies, ACB/123 cookies, Cake Pops, Rainbow Ice Cream Push Ups, Big Bird's Candy Coated Sesame Seeds and Sesame Street Smoothie pouches. For drinks we had Sesame Street Fruit Juice Boxes and water with Sesame Street labels. The birthday girl had a special allergy free cake that looked like Elmo. The kids got Sesame Street cupcakes that looked like Elmo, Cookie Monster, Oscar, Big Bird, Zoe and Abby Cadabby. All printables for the party, food labels, water bottle labels, straw flags, favor labels and party circles were from Whimsy LLC at Etsy.com For party favors, I had a favor buffet for kids to fill a red bucket to take home. The buckets were labeled with their names on a Sesame Street sign. The favor buffet included chalk, crayons, a rainbow stick crayon, pencils, Sesame Street stickers, sixlets candy, crayon looking bubbles, and crayon erasers. It was a fun party!
