Party Recap
We chose a Barbie themed birthday for our little one year old. She has a vintage/shabby chic themed room with 2 Robert Best barbie prints. The idea was to create something girly and sweet by using shabby chic decorations, while still having it feel fun and Barbie-ish. Guests came in and could take photos in the photo booth while listening to French music. Then could grab some sweets from the dessert table. And look at the memorabilia on the walls and in the scrapbooks that were laid out. Then travel to the backyard to eat some French themed food. Kids could meet Barbie (my sis in law dressed up) and do some activities. We did the whole cake thing- she cried the whole time. Too tired. Opened presents! She perked back up for that. :) And then sent guests home with some sweets! Fun day.

This party is beautiful! I especially love the dessert table and the hanging banners over the table, fire place, and outside. Did you make this name banner? If so, how? If not, will you share your source? You truly out did yourself with this party. GORGEOUS!

Thank you so much Christina! Your comment made my day :) The beautiful banners were made by my very talelented sister in law Betheny. She used scrapbook paper and found a font she liked and printed them out. I know there is much more to them, but not sure the details. You can check out her blog: http://tomseth.blogspot.com/ And thanks again!
