Party Recap
I set out to prove that you can have an awesome and beautifully decorated party even if your kid is screaming to have it at a chuck e cheese or peter piper pizza. Lucky for me Peter Piper is decorated in the same bright vibrant colors as Candyland. Lots of primary and rainbow colors. I knew my decor would go great in there. Not to mention they are so accommodating. They allow you to bring in your cake and even drinks. They don't require you to book a party package, you can do whatever you want a la carte. And by having it on a Friday we were able to save lots of money using their yummy and affordable lunch buffet. Every party guest 3 and under was FREE. I only had to pay for the adults and the 4yr old and up guests. :)
Invitations were hand made as were address labels to match. We decorated with lots of candy of course as well as giant swirl lollipops. Colorful pieces of construction paper, colorful hug barrels of juice, green and blue napkins, red straws, purple cutlery, and scattered candyland game cards.
I made the cake to match the candyland board as much as possible, and that was also the inspiration for the candy used. We also had two different sets of rainbow cake pops in 8 different flavors that was a hit with the adult party guests.
The play structure, games, prize tickets, and prize counter were enough to keep the kids entertained after eating and in between cake and presents. The kids all got to take home the prizes they won playing games, a different colored playdough favor, as well as a goodie bag full of candy. :)

How did you make the lollipops the ones that are green and swirled around? Or where did you get them? So adorable we do candyland in our front yard for Christmas every year and those are just too cute.

JC Penney has them for sale right now for $13.99 each. They have them in all different colors but those were the ones that matched the best to my theme. :) Good Luck!
