Party Recap

I just love the rich metallic colors of the fall and, of course, I just love anything that sparkles! For my tablescape, I started with a chocolate wrinkled taffeta tablecloth. Each place setting had a patterned gold charger with a shimmering bronze glass plate and rust colored metallic “leaf” salad plate. Chocolate satin napkins were placed on top of the leaf plates with gold leaf napkin rings. Amber glass goblets were set at each place setting, while orange and yellow glass acorn candy dishes filled with tiny gems were used as place card holders. A red rosette table runner was in the center of the table. Glass wine bottles with sparking copper candles and copper beads hung from the inside of the wine bottles were placed on the table. Pots of gems and even more copper beads were also added adornments. For the main centerpiece, glittering bronze branches were placed in a vase and filled with rich fall colored gems.Hanging votive candle holders with crushed amber glass and tealight candles hung from the branches. The fireplace mantel was decorated with acorn and metallic leaf garlands, alongside sparkling pumpkins, acorns and twine! Lastly, each guest received a “Thanksgiving Treat” — acorn shaped gourmet chocolates — in a golden box.

I wrapped wire at the top the the bead strands and hot glued the wire into the bottom of the candles!
