Party Recap

EVENT DETAILS:
This was a party styled for a client who's son was turning 5. My client
requested a traditional pirate party with full spread of sweets and most
importantly, marshmallow pops with rainbow colored sprinkles, the birthday
boy's ONLY request. :-)

I created 3 tables for the event. The dessert table, activity table,
which included color-your-own pirates, skull & crossbones, and pirate
ships, and favors table, which included pirate bag to be filled with
swords, eye patches, stickers, and take-home treats from the dessert
table.

What I loved most about this party was that I was able to incorporate many
already-owned nautical themed decor items pulled from home, which saved a
lot of money that would've been spent on decor! The ship made a great
focal centerpiece and the anchor was perfect as a "walk the plank" serving
piece.

Based in DC, Captain Silly Bones, was hired for the entertainment and
provided the kids with a full afternoon of interactive story telling,
tatoo making, and outdoor treasure hunt.

This was such a fun afternoon for Brody and his little friends. My
favorite part of the party was when Brody and his older brother came up to
me and said, "Lady, you sure know how to throw a good party". How could
you not smile ear to ear with that kind of feedback? :-)
