Party Recap

When my daughter brought home a bag of “snow man soup” from preschool last year, I loved the idea and we had to make a big cup of snowman soup right away. I have waited a year to design a snowman soup {aka Hot Chocolate} set and couldn’t wait to set up a shoot for it! We invited some friends over and all had a blast!

I adore the “Mug of Cocoa” cake designed by my friend Kara of Lemon Drop Cakerie, and the darling little custom lollipops from LeAnne at Whimsical {did you ever imagine lollipops could be so darling?}. We set the table and then used our kitchen hutch for our Hot Chocolate bar, featuring flavors like Malted Milk Chocolate and Carmel + Sea Salt. We also found flavored marshmallows which are fantastic and gave a true mix and match to the hot chocolate bar!

As for the favors? What else….Snowman Soup to go! I made favor labels which come two ways and are a free download so you can use them for packaging favors, or treats for friends, neighbors, and teachers. One of the labels I printed on full label paper and used a punch for the snowman part to go on the top of a mason jar, and then the instructions I wrapped around it. The other one is meant to wrap over a little box that you can fill with individual baggies of hot cocoa powder, marshmallows, chocolate chips, and peppermints.
