Party Recap

These pictures show the Christmas breakfast table I designed and baked for my children. Since they are still small (3 years old) we tend to do bigger celebrations on the 25th rather than on Christmas' eve, so instead of a regular dessert table served after dinner, I opted for the breakfast option.

The table was inspired on a set of window stickers we bought for our children in our latest trip to Argentina, which showed Santa Claus and its reindeers. I decorated the reindeers in white to match the printables I used from Bird's Party ( downloaded for free from Catch My Party), which I also used to decorate the table's backdrop.

Party Highlights

  • What People Ate

Since we are a multicultural family, I included sweets from our mixed heritage: There was Pandoro, which is common in Argentina and Italy (store-bought), gingerbread cookies (in the shape Santa Claus and Rudolph's faces)and gingerbread houses (the flavour of which reminds my husband of his own childhood in Kosovo) kourambiedes and melomakarona (from Greek Cyprus, where we live), as well as chocolate cookies in the shape of holy and of a Christmas wreath, "Rudolph" cake pops and vanilla bean macarons with chocolate hazelnut cream.

  • What People Drank

Hot chocolate, and coffee for the adults.
