Party Recap

After planning my daughter's 1st birthday party in April, my son could not stop talking about HIS birthday. I figured he would ask for a Toy Story or Cars party but instead he said he wanted a BLUE birthday party. So a blue party is what he got (with some green thrown in the mix too).

With the assistance of several etsy foodies and Katie from Saving Dates, I was able to create a perfect color themed boys birthday party. His dessert table featured Oreo Cupcakes with swiss meringue buttercream icing, chocolate covered oreos, cake pops, personalized candy bars, and some sweet customized cookies.

Everything looks (and sounds) SO delicious. I'm tempted to borrow the theme for my friend. Is 34 too old for a "Blue" birthday?
