Selected as Party of the Day on March 28th!
Cathie's Vintage Tea
ByParty Recap
We threw a surprise bridal tea for my best friend. We had scones and finger sandwiches, as well as my favorite: mimosas!
Party Highlights
-
Desserts
Desserts made by the bridal party and cake by A. Nelson Designs of Danbury, CT.
-
Activities / Games
We played a 20 question game with the bride answering questions we previously asked the groom. And we also played a "Mr. and Mrs. Right" passing game that got a lot of laughs!
-
Party Favors
Tea and cookies in boxes wrapped in vintage style hankies.
-
Best Moment
watching the bride laugh with her family during the games, and seeing her open her gift from the bridesmaids. (It was a veil that she really wanted)
-
What People Ate
Gourmet finger sandwiches and scones made by the grooms family.
-
What People Drank
Pink Lemonade, Peach Iced Tea, and Pink Lemonade.
-
Funniest Moment
When I went to pick up the bride and she was wearing the same EXACT dress as her future sister-in-law. So I told her and she changed.

How beautiful! And it looks so special. I love the favors...I would never have thought of a vintage hankie. Really different. Using real china adds a very elegant touch!

Can you help me please? How did you put this together? Is this on canvas? Did you use fabric paint? And what did you have for the guests to dip their fingers in? Please help, I'd like to do this for my cousin's baby shower this weekend! Thanks so much!
