Party Recap

We did a spin on the traditional April Showers and added some rainbows. We didn't use primary colors, however. We had a RAINBOW dessert table and a RAIN comfort food table. The kids did fun umbrella paper and rainbow scratch paper crafts. It was a great time!

Party Highlights

  • Best Dressed

    My birthday girl, of course!!

  • Desserts

Rainbow dessert buffet: Rainbow cake, confetti cupcakes, rice krispies, fruit kabobs, rainbow jello, candy & cookies

  • Activities / Games

The kids were all 3 and under, so they did a simple craft with an umbrella pic. They could glue on fruit loops, candies, etc. And we had rainbow scratch paper for drawings, too.

  • Budget

I tend to not give myself a budget for my daughters' parties. I make most things, but for the stuff I do not make myself, I'd say I spent around $300 total.

  • Party Favors

Rainbow theme bags for the kiddos- Star sunglasses, playdoh, pencil, spikey ball, bubbles, candies and more!

  • Best Moment

When my daughter came down and saw it ALL set up. She was SO excited!!

  • What People Ate

Comfort foods... Chili, Baked Potato Bar, Grilled Cheese Sami's & Mini Mac-n-Cheese

  • What People Drank

Water & soda with colored ice cubes!

  • Funniest Moment

Opening presents with little kids is hard work! It was so cute to see them all want to help my daughter!
