Party Recap
This party was awesome, my boys love music and playing dress-up so it was a great combination. My husband built the stage, my step mom (owner of Ta-Dah) and dad decorated it, my MIL was the baker and I was the crafter/graphic designer.
Party Highlights
-
Best Dressed
the birthday boys of course!
-
Desserts
electric guitar cake & audience head cupcakes, star-struck rice crispy treats
-
Activities / Games
"rocking" balloons to be "pop" stars, getting hair colored and tattoos applied in the real backstage area, playing music on the stage (real musical instruments), creating Hollywood Blvd. stars, playing on the playground
-
Budget
hmmmmm, was I supposed to keep track? ;) We made pretty much everything ourselves so it didn't cost much.
-
Party Favors
rockin' wallets (to hold all their green when they make it big on the rockstar scene)
-
Best Moment
when the boys first walked outside to see the set-up, the smiles on their faces showed that they approved!
-
What People Ate
punked out pizza, musical meatballs, prelude pb&j
-
What People Drank
pitch-er of punch
-
Most Touching Moment
when Cullen (the oldest) chose the theme.... his PawPaw Robin was a musician until he unexpectedly passed away 3 years ago. The really cool part was that the party was held the day before PawPaw Robin's birthday, and lots of the muscial equipment once belonged to him. We know he would've loved this party, and I'm sure he enjoying watching :)

Daddy
Assistant
Daddy deserves lots of credit for pulling off such a fun party. He built the stage, set up all the fancy musical equipment, and managed all electrical stuff (see, I don't even know the name of the "stuff", glad I wasn't in charge of this part).
