Party Recap

This is my sweet baby girl Julia's 4th "Unbirthday" party! This party was a long time in the making and is a joint effort between myself Sweet as Sugar Candy Buffets and my dear friend Tammy Mutter with Meghily's Party in Style!

Julia has a love for all things Alice so we combined both the original Disney movie with the Tim Burton version and created this whimsical wonderland. It was so much fun! The girls entered "wonderland" by drinking a tiny vial of blue "Alice Juice" to shrink and enter the backyard. They then visited the "Mad Hatter Haberdashery" and tried on old fashioned hats as well as made a newspaper hat adorned with colorful tulle and flowers. I had a "Mad Hatter Tea Party" setup where we had desert first!!! They loved that!!! Desert was followed by juice, tea sandwiches and dainty cookies.

The girls played "Find the Cheshire Cat" and a relay style "Painting the Roses Red Game". I created the candy buffet with a fun variety of colorful candy, part of the take home favor were clear plastic teacups and saucers were glued together and the kids filled up the cups with yummy treats to take home. They also took home mini tophats that were adorned with colorful ribbon and feathers and there newspaper hats. What a fun party to plan, style and enjoy as the Mom of the birthday girl!

Thanks to Tammy @ Meghilys for all of her help and expertise.

Amazing job! Where did you get the white frame with the teal tea cup used in the candy back drop? Looks like there was a gold mirror that was similar. I love them!
