My daughter absolutely adores all things princess and when she asked for a princess Jasmine party, I was thrilled to get started because I love turquoise and bright colors!

I decided immediately that I wanted to have a dress up area at her party and then decided to make everything in this area party favors for the girls to take home. But I knew I had to come up with something for the boys too. For party favors, we had crown lip glosses, princess rings, lip gloss rings, necklaces, bracelets, nail polish, nail files, and tiaras. I also purchased the blue fans from Luna Bazaar which were a hit on this very hot day! Other favors included bubbles, whistles, bouncy balls, and compass rings (for the boys). I bought blue beaded favor bags and put toy golden coins inside them. There were tutus in turquoise and purple. The boys also received an inflatable sword which they loved!

To display the party favors, I used a dollhouse bookshelf in my girls' playroom that once covered with ruffled fabrics that I sewed to fit, the shelf resembled a tent. I also used a small vanity for party favors and created a tablecloth to coordinate. In this same area was also the Arabian sand art activity. This was a huge hit with all the kids!

I created her invitations, food and candy labels, name banner, and welcome sign in the party colors. I also drew Jasmine's palace onto a large sheet of styrofoam which I then cut out and covered with tapestry fabric. This was my daughter's favorite piece! To add to the theme, I purchased a really cool incense burner that looked just like an authentic genie lamp.

I custom made all the tablecloths and runners, and added lots of fun ruffles throughout.

I incorporated some peacock flare, starting with the peacock feather graphic on her invitation to the table arrangements to the peacock food picks, ending with the cool peacock paper lanterns purchased from Pier 1 Imports. I hung other paper lanterns in various colors, shapes, and sizes.

I accented throughout the party using colorful bottles and glasses found at several craft stores as well as using some pieces from my collection of irredescent vintage carnival glass.

The candy table was so much fun for me. I purchased the beautiful peacock sugar cookies and most of the peacock cupcake toppers from PartyCreative on etsy. The beautiful fondant ruffled flower toppers on the cake and 3 peacock toppers were purchased from SweetThingTopperShop on etsy. I also made Oreo pops and the cake. I used a gold cupcake stand in the center with a turquoise apothecary on one end containing chocolate covered pretzels and a gorgeous purple apothecary filled with more treats to balance out the other end. I made the turquoise ruffled cake stands using old plates and dollar store candle holders. Holding the peacock cookies is a vintage framed mirror that I painted to coordinate.

Hi Rachelle- thank you! Yes, I made this. :) I love crafting so I make nearly all my party decor. I do sell it from time to time as well when I am not too busy planning parties.
