Selected as Party of the Day on October 4th!
Thanksgiving dessert table
ByParty Recap
In May, I had been thinking about what I wanted to create for Thanksgiving {I know that is really early, but us party girls are planners}. Over the summer, we visited the zoo and more than a few times peacocks had crossed our path. And it HIT me!!! Why not use a Peacock image as my focal point for a Thanksgiving collection! By early August, I had noticed all the Peacock decorations in the home stores! It was perfect. I like the colors turquoise, chocolate brown and deep orange together ~ they just say Fall to me! Those are the colors I went with for this collection. We found a wonderful material for a backdrop and many Peacock decorations. We love how it all turned out. We used some traditional Fall food elements and decorations ~ acorn cookies, mini popcorn balls, caramel corn, Pumpkin spice parfaits, candy pumpkins, candy corn, pine cones, Peacock feathers and river rocks.
