Selected as Party of the Day on October 9th!
Amanda's Bridal Shower
ByParty Recap
I styled this tea party with an accent of burlap and lace, to give it a rustic/vintage edge. Place settings were different as well as napkins. Each setting had a brown box accented with lace and a names stamped on the box. The boxes were filled with different tea selections. Honey sticks were tied with lace and place on tea cups. Three courses were served for this high tea event. First scones, then finger sandwiches and lastly dessert cookies. On the display table were the "Rosy to Go-sy" favors for guest. I put an accent of lace on the mason jars and added flags for names. Also a picture frame with guest to sign the photo matting sat on the table with some other accent pieces. I made the backdrop of burlap and lace and used the idea of lace to make lanterns. I also incorporated this idea and used burlap and lace to make additional lanterns which were displayed above the gift table. The photo backdrop was perfect for the style and there were various props used for the photo ops. This was a very charming Tea Party!
