Party Recap

Superhero Themed Birthday for my friend's son 6th birthday. She wanted to have a game truck at the party but was not sure about the theme of the entire party. I really loved the new craze in Superhero themed parties and suggested that to her. She trusts me and confirmed that this vision would be fine. The week prior to the party I would send her small "sneak peak" pictures of little things that I was working on but I LOVE to keep the element of surprise for both the parents and the kids. The day of the party she walked in and was truly surprised. She was amazed at how everything came together and the kids were super excited as well. Her husband even confirmed giving me "5 thumbs up". This was all the confirmation I needed, as we know men don't get too much of a kick out of parties and decor.
Doing weeks of research I decided to have a photo booth and put together unique party favor bags. I get tired of seeing the cheap plastic "goodie bags" so I decided purchase bags that would be used way beyond the day of the party. In the bags were superhero tattoos, superhero crayons, a superhero pencil, a colored superhero mask, and a superhero activity mask (the kids didn't have a chance to do this with the party bus being there), customized t-shirts and a bag of chips. Using the party printable from Venspaperie I printed the 'T' emblem on t-shirt transfer paper. The birthday boy's shirt was different than the other kids.

The dessert table was simple I had cupcakes, pixie sticks, pop rocks and customized cookies. I purchased custom cookies from etsy (I love supporting small home grown business). The white chocolate covered Oreos are located here: http://www.etsy.com/listing/70312152/super-hero-birthday-party-1-dozen and the Super Cookies were purchased here: http://www.etsy.com/listing/77748196/your-super-hero-1-dozen-platter-sized
