Party Recap
My daughter wanted to have a Monster High themed party for her 8th birthday. The house was set up with different areas and activities for the girls. They walked through the front door between two full size Monster High cutouts into the "Registration" office where they picked up Monster High ID badges and Diary books. They then went into the Student Lounge to watch Monster High videos while waiting for the other girls. After that they proceeded to Operetta's dance hall to dance to their favorite music. Then to Cleo de Nile's Fashion Design Studio to make toilet paper mummy fashions. After that they visited Frankie Stein's Mad Science lab where they made Abbey Bominable's Insta Snow (a big hit for girls in Florida), Lagoona Blue's Magic Sea Worms and Spectra Vondergeist's Ghost Bubbles. Next proceed to Clawdeen's Makeover Cave where makeup and hair stylists made the girls over to look like their favorite doll--the results were amazing. They could also make Graveyard Pudding in Home Ick and Jewelry at Draculaura's Jewelry Box. When they got hungry they visited the Creepeteria for Cleo's Mummy Dogs, Draculaura's Apple Fangs, Ghoulia's Carrot Fingers, Frankie's Frightening Meatball Sandwiches and CA Cupid's Heart Sandwiches. They all had an amazing time and no one will ever forget this party!

Party Planner
I took a little inspiration from other parties I found on this website and then took it in my own direction and came up with the activities, decor, menu, signs, etc. This party was a mixture of a Monster High Diva party, a Halloween party and a Mad Scientist party. The girls loved it!

How did you make the Spectra Ghost Bubbles?

It was a kit from stevespanglerscience.com. They provide a jar, tube, soap solution and gloves. You will need to purchase dry ice and follow the detailed experiment directions. This was the girls' favorite experiment.
