Cars 2 Party

My son requested a Cars 2 party for his 5th birthday. I love to plan and create my own parties and decor, and I decided to make it a little different by making the theme the London leg of the Grand Prix race in the movie. I am a Brit living in the USA, so it was fun for me to incorporate a bit of home into the party! I did the colours in red, light & dark blue, and some checkered flag decor too. I used a lot of the English characters from the movie (The Queen, Double Deckington, Sgt. Highgear, Finn & Holley etc..) for the cupcake toppers, and the birthday banner, along with favourites Mcqueen, Mater, & Francesco. The party was held mid-afternoon, so the food consisted of themed snacks and cupcakes! It turned out great, and my son loved his party!
