Hi Elaine: I am from argentina but here in Chile there is a very famous cake for kids, that they call "Torta de Cuchuflies". It is very easy to do and very easy to serve =)
The ¨cuchufli" is something very chilean, in argentina for example the name is "cubanito" i don't now the name in English, but i let you a link with the image of a cuchufli´s cake (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0u41vfOlhuI&feature=related).
I don´t know if you have some sweet similar to a cuchuflies or cubanitos in your country, maybe you can use some kind of chocolate stick or similar.
