Party Recap

We had the pleasure of styling, decorating, and photographing the red carpet for Angel Smedley's (of Quacker Factory for QVC) wedding. This was a really exciting wedding to be a part of. Not only was this a FABULOUS theme but the bride is pretty amazing too!

Angel wanted an old movie poster featuring her and Glen. We designed this one and it was displayed at the red carpet entrance.

Guests entered the cocktail hour after a photo, and for some, an interview on the red carpet.

We created place cards with a "deco" shape to coordinate with the 1920s theme.

Photos of family and the happy couple donned the place card and gift table. Also on the table along with the signs were beautiful quotes which Angel had collected.

A baby grand piano sat by the fireplace where some of the couple's family members performed during cocktail hour.

Angel had chosen a color scheme of white, gold, and black. She wanted the wedding to feel glamorous and elegant without being overly "'Gatsby". She chose simple low square vases which we wrapped in gold rhinestone ribbon. We filled the vases with white roses and surrounded the centerpieces with gold mercury glass votive holders. The tables were dressed in white linens with black overlays and finished with gold charges and menu cards to match the theme. Each table was marked with a classic Hollywood couple.

The sweetheart table was dressed a bit differently with a gold sequin table runner, "LOVE" marquee sign, gold rhinestone wrapped vase filled with 50 red roses, and mercury glass votive holders. The staff at Springfield Country Club made a beautiful flower for both Angel and Glen's place setting.
