Party Recap

Our 10month old twins and their cousin had a joint Christening party hosted by their grandparents. It was a toy soldier party as we thought soldiers signifies strength and courage befitting the occasion. The event was styled by ham&pea- they custom designed the invitations right through to the party decorations and even custom designed wooden pegs for our goody bag giveaway! We had custom designed ginger bread toy soldier cookie as take home treats. The house was colourfully decorated with red, blue and yellow balloons, buntings and toy soldiers hung from the ceiling to really bring the venue to life. We had a kids corner with all the yummy finger food and hearty treats and who can forget fairy bread which the children really enjoyed! The dessert table was filled with cakes, macarons, tarts, eclairs, chocolate marshmallow on sticks, traditional Asian desserts to tie in with their Eurasian heritage and all other tasty treats- colour co ordinated of course! We also had beautiful cupcake toppers with the boys' names and the toy soldier custom designed. The cupcakes were a centre piece sitting atop a light box. Matching menu cards were placed together with the food. Even the trees on site had a little bunting life added to the leaves. The boys had their high chairs decorated with matching buntings and were displayed on their 'throne' as the centrepiece - just like the 3 little soldiers on the invitations. We all had such a fabulous day!
