Totoro - 5th Birthday Party

My son and I are Studio Ghibli fans and we love Totoro, from the Japanese animated film My Neighbor Totoro. Since we are currently living in Japan, I felt inspired to throw a Totoro themed party.
Totoro lives in a forest so I used a lot of green colors, moss and moss branches to create a bit of a forest theme. I connected with an artist that was able to create the Totoro mural for the backdrop.
We had an activity table with blank canvases and paint to let kids be creative and a big bounce house to let the kids have fun.

  I wasn't able to find any decorations for the theme so she helped me by creating the wonderful mural that really helped set the scene for the party. I am forever grateful!
