Party Recap

We don't have a very big house so this year I decided to deck out the garage. It was my daughter's 8th birthday. We went with pink and black theme and I incorporated two shades of pink and everything from polka dots to stripes to damask. The attendees received invitations with "Passports to Paris" complete with a boarding pass. My daughter decided to collect shoe donations instead of presents this year to go to giveshoes.org We played pin the poof on the poodle, drank sparkling cider out of hot pink flutes and dined on Parisian style desserts and snacks. We had a dress up vanity station with a photo prop box. We used the striped pink wall in my daughters room as a photo backdrop, which I added an Eiffel Tower decal to. As an activity each girl painted her own masterpiece on a canvas before they turned the garage into their own Paris dance party. This was also a sleepover! We went to Paris "in the movies" by watching "Passport to Paris" and "A Monster in Paris." The next morning we had a fancy breakfast at the fancy table and decorated cupcakes before they all went home.

Hi Erica, The invite passports were printables from paperglitter.com The bottle labels came from shindigz.com the plates were from oriental trading, The goodie bags were from Michael's, but I added the pink ribbion with double stick tape and the circle was a printable from my paper glitter kit. Other misc décor came from party city or amazon. (The Effiel tower decal came from amazon.) Or I used my printables to decorate things I already had, like the mason jars! Hope that helps!:)
