Party Recap

This was an elegant 40th birthday party. The color scheme was black/white houndstooth with a touch of red. Champagne was the cocktail of the evening blinged out with baby red rose swizzle sticks. Eight dozen roses graced the champagne, dessert, food & outside tables. The desserts were all made to match the color combo & looked spectacular. The food was catered in silver chafing dishes. Lanterns hung above all the party areas adding elegant ambience. The dress was cocktail attire so there was a bit of sass in the air. A good time was had by all!

Hi Katie! This was so simple...I used Lemonade that I bought at Publix (in the gallon jugs) and then added grenadine. I cut up some lemon slices to throw in too. For the glasses, I used a lemon to wet the rim and then dipped them into red sanding sugar that I had ordered from Layer Cake Shop. Enjoy! Terri
