Party Recap

Planning little Aliana's birthday all happened in a span of less than 3 weeks. I loved every single detail in this party.
Aliana's mom wanted something with animals and colorful, and it was only befitting to throw in a touch of NYC since the party was taking place in New York. I really love detail so whether I have a year to plan an event or a few weeks, you can rest assured there will still be plenty of detail.

The theme was carried out from the backdrop, to the drinks, to the amazing dessert table and the party activities. I love the incorporation of the yellow cabs to add that extra touch of New York. I'm especially thankful to my vendors Jaimee of Bushel & Peck Paper and Natasha of Homemade by TZ for accommodating me in such a short time frame :).

What I loved the most about this party was the clean chic and modern look of the dessert table. The backdrop with the NYC skyline really defined the theme. There was a fair amount of crafting involved, from making cake toppers out of the lovely stickers from Bushel & Peck Paper and assembling and accessorizing the party hats, to accenting vessels with a black and white striped ribbon. We had desserts of all kinds and an amazing cake replicating the NYC skyline with the fun animals parading around it.

The kids and adults had so much fun with animal face masks and a lion pinata filled with goodies. Most importantly little Aliana had such a blast at her very first birthday party.
