The Milk & Cookies Bar was a huge success! As was the Salad & Soup Bar with lots of toppings!
Hearing how delicious the food was and how much everyone enjoyed the party. And the decor got a lot of comments!
Most Touching Moment
When a beautiful Senior lady won money in a game and said she was going to buy a pair of jeans! And when most of the ladies said it was our best party yet.
Some of the answers during Christmas Family Feud
What People Ate
Salad & Soup Bar w/ toppings - Taco Soup, Potato Soup & Black Bean Chili, Petite Grilled Cheese Sandwiches
What People Drank
White Christmas Punch, Mocha Punch, Coffee Bar, Water, Assort. Soft Drinks
I clipped branches, spray painted them red and used them as centerpieces for the long banquet tables. I clipped two snow birds to each centerpiece and used cedar & holly springs. It was a cheap, yet beautiful effect! I received so many compliments on the centerpieces.
Milk & Cookies Bar. All of the food was homemade. I had nine types of cookies: German Chocolate Bars, Lemon Squares, Mini Cupcakes, Gingersnaps, Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Chip 5-Nut, Sugar, Oreo Truffles, Red Velvet Cake Truffles. The "milk" was ice cream based punches - White Christmas Punch & Mocha Punch
Activities / Games
Musical Envelope, Christmas Family Feud, A Few of my Favorite Things
As the party was winding down, after food, games, fun & fellowship, the party planning board and I gave out our favorite things. It started with each lady receiving a Christmas tote bag to take their loot home. They received Christmas candles, Russian Tea, Trail Mix, Popcorn & Hot Cocoa, Puppy Chow, Key Rings, Cupcakes, A flyer for a free 8x10 pic from our in-house photographer, more Christmas drink mix, nuts, fruit, etc. From me they received homemade Chocolate Martini Body Scrub. Yum!
