Party Highlights

  • Best Dressed

the birthday boy with his Pokemon shirt and pokemon hat that i made for him of coarse.

  • Desserts

we had a wonderful pokemon cake, which had strawberry filling. I did not want something too sweet, because of the heat at the park.

  • Activities / Games

We rented a bounce house, which i filled with beach balls. my whole theme was based around different types of balls. I alos purcheased from oriental trading company, these paint/ design your own mini beach balls the kids loved usiong the markers and creating their own unique beach balls to play with. we had other park type games. the kids had a great time.

  • Budget

passed my budget, but it was worth it. all for our son.

  • Party Favors

I made these adorable pokemon balls that i purchased at party city, but they were plain red and clear tops, so i made them look like pokemon balls. The kids loved them they were quite unique. i filled them with fun stuff like, bouncing balls, play dough, pokemon flying disk, whistles, pokemon playing card, pokemon wrist bands, compas rings and more. they were very cute and fun. The girls got the same ones but with girly things instead.

  • Best Moment

just watching Abraham's face light up when we got to the park and he saw his surprise Pokemon birthday with all his friends / family there.

  • What People Ate

we had chicken, pork, rice, salad, chips, dip, a snack station with m & m's , cheese crackers, marshmellows , chex-mix, and more. we had a snack station instead of the candy ones because we were at a park. i felt that the salty snacks would be best. they were a hit. everyone loved them.

  • What People Drank

we had sodas and lots of water, because it was a june birthday. it was quite hot at the park.

  • Most Touching Moment

when he said thank you to me and his dad for making this party for him. we were taking a photo under this balloon arch, which was cute.

  • Funniest Moment

bouncing in the bounce house and the pinata time.
