Every year I host a Pink Pajama party for adults and a mini pink party for our kids.
Last year we had an Academy Award theme. Along with singing and gift exchange, we had many games and even a sweet shop which the girls had to win tickets then purchase their items at the end of the night. It was great as they had to figure out the amounts ahead of time.
Academy award went to Mallory
Cupcakes, cookies, candy
Activities / Games
Sing along to sheet music, simon says, green light, red light, races, scavenger hunt. Each child received an academy award for things they had done throughout the day. They also got their own personalized star to add their handprints.
When they arrived and saw tons of butterflies and glitter then walked down the pink carpet. The look on their faces was priceless!
What People Ate
Burgers, pretzels dipped in pink chocolate, french fries, fruit
What People Drank
Pink lemonade served in martini glasses with pink sugar around the rims and a slice of lemon.
Most Touching Moment
Almost every moment. I can't really pick one out.
When they received their academy award, they had to say a speech. It was awesome!
