Adam's Star Wars Party
ByParty Recap
Adam talked for months about having a Star Wars party for his 4th Birthday, and said he wanted to turn our backyard into "Star Wars Land." He also really wanted to give all of his friends light sabers at the party, so that's where we started. We created some fun activities to do with the light sabers and made a "pin the light saber on Darth Vader" party game. We even used them as centerpieces on the tables. The backdrop and table cloths were black linen splattered with white paint. That was a fun project! The napkins were wrapped with light saber holders printed on card stock, made in all the different light saber colors from the movies. The Happy Birthday banner was made in photoshop using vintage movie posters and printed on card stock. The cake was homemade, topped off with the adorable Darth Vader candle holder. The rest of the food was designed to look like things from outer space, like the asteroid belt cookies and the hoth ice puppy chow. All the food was displayed on cool black serving dishes from CB2. We loved turning our backyard into "Star Wars land" and the birthday boy had a blast at his Star Wars party!
