Party Recap

After finding the perfect location, a true working farm with a public farmers market storefront where you can do everything from pick your own fruit and vegetables to feed baby goats, the theme really fell into place.

Guests arrived at the party and boarded a tractor which took everyone on a tour of the 100 acre farm and dropped them off back at the party pergola.

Party Highlights

  • What People Ate

The food had to be in line with the theme, so I focused on what you'd typically find at a farmers market: fresh fruits & vegetables, fresh baked artisan pies, fresh breads, cheeses, hummus & spreads. The fruits & and veggies were displayed in berry baskets. For the kids: Corn husks (kix cereal wrapped up to look like corn), and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches!

  • What People Drank

Personalized Aidan's Farmers Market water bottles. Organic fresh apple juice from the orchard!

  • Desserts

Fresh Baked Artisan Pies Vegetable Cupcakes Haystacks (Rice Crispy Treats) Tractor wheels (oreo's) The vegetable garden cupcakes were hands down my favorite party of the party! The cupcakes really took the party over the top. I purchased individual pots, used oreos as "dirt" and displayed the cupcakes both in a garden setting surrounded by a picket fence and also on a 3 tiered display. The birthday girl had her own cake that was topped with fresh berries.

  • Party Favors

The party favor's consisted of terra cotta pots with assorted fruit and vegetable seeds for the kids to plant at home in their gardens, I also added carrot shaped bubbles for some enjoyment. The favors were displayed on an authentic vintage wood farmer's market stand I found at an antique shop.

  • Activities / Games

The kids got unlimited access to all the activities at the farm, including an animal show, pony rides, tractor rides, gold digging, goat feesing, and cow, pig, horse, chicken and duck watching!
