I actually made them using this pattern. http://www.etsy.com/listing/77382543/mermaid-costume-pattern-ebook-pattern I just made the front and back and the back was felt and the front was the sequin material, all from Joann Fabrics. I couldn't spend a lot since I had to make 12 of them. But the kids loved them and they have lasted a very long time.

Her directions were really good. I think they went pretty fast once I created one, it was easy to do the rest. Good Luck!

Amelia was having a 5th Birthday party and wanted to make sure that boys could come too, so we turned her Mermaid Party into a Mermaid/Pirate Theme Party.

Where did you get those mermaid tail costumes? I'm looking for some for a similar party.
